Coopers (Not necessarily on your HellCat)? I would use them as OEM replacements, to get maximum treadwear. Thoughts, comments, please.

I'm just hoping they actually would technically (sans burnouts) last longer than the pirellis.

I had a set of them on my 300 SRT that I traded. I was happy with them, put about 6000 miles on them and they didn't show a lot of wear.

I actually have those tires on my 2013 Roush Stage 3. Cooper tires and Roush worked together to design a tire for the RS3 cars. They come stock on the Roush Stage 3 cars.
I love them. Not loud and they get pretty sticky as well for a road tire. I think you will be pleased. Plus, I am hearing good things from Cooper tires recently.
    Good luck!
(The photo isn't my tire/wheel. Just a different view of the thread and pattern from Google.)

If your looking for maximum then a 300 treadwear is too low. There are tires out there with 500 but a lot depends on your driving style and the weather you may encounter.

From what I hear, Nycsrt has them and loves them. I am considering these and the Continental ExtremeContact DW or DWS's when it's time to change tires. My father has been a mechanic for 30+ years and said that Cooper tires is on a comeback and has had some pretty nice stuff as of late.

I have these Coopers in 305/35s on my HC now. Traction is downright terrible. I wore out a pair of factory summer tires before mounting these (trying to find something that would work well, but save some $). The factory summer tires were much grippier. My best 0-60s differ .7 seconds between the two tires.

    My 2 cents!
