I am looking at wiring in a Autometer tach ( Mopar logo like below )with shift light against the driver side A pillar. I had the same thing in my R/T. I do not like the DID shift light and I prefer my wheel low and hand at 12:00 so cannot see the dash tach.

My question is, has someone done so on a HC and if so, where did you pickup the power and how did you wire in the electronic tach adapter ( can it be wired into one spot or do you need to wire into both banks of coils ) trying to hopefully minimize hacking into factory harness.
Install instruction are vague at best and nothing specific for the HC.

Better location, but not any better face than the one in the dash. I haven't found a way but can you move the tach display to the center of the instrument cluster like the other gauges?

Might not be the best looking but with FCA screwing up not putting in HUD and the worlds worst shift light I would consider also - I only hit the REV limiter 50x already. Wish Mopar had a real performance division ike Ford Performance and maybe a easy plug and play HC version would be available.

Well I ordered the P5155500 tach and elec adapter, so I'll figure it out over the next 6 months while car is in storage for winter
