Went out to eat today and there was a 30 minute wait. Was wearing my hellcat polo and cap, and after about 10 minutes, one of the managers came out and asked me "do you really own a hellcat?" I pointed it out in the parking lot to him, he said wait one sec. And went and cleared a table for us and sat us right away. Vette owner but said he loved the CAT. He wondered why dodge only went with 275s stock too. Thought the cat deserved bigger tires.

I've gotten flagged over for vip parking a couple of times, once at a restaurant, once at a bar.

Also at my neighborhood carwash they park it under an awning front and center until I come to get it vs. pulling it into the parking lot like they do with my truck and Jeep.

Yes, my baby is like a rock star! Can't keep the paparazzi off him. The dealer gives him preferential treatment and totally increases my street cred! Lol;)

    Solo7777,

I refuse to leave my car unattended at a restaurant after what happened at the last car show I went to. People were trying to put their hands in the intake hole for the supercharger. People wanted to sit in it and have their picture taken. I have had people ask for ride in it. People with their hoodie sweat shirt zippers were getting to close to my car. Two women wanted to rub my seats. Like freakin' bees around honey. People have no respect for other people's property. Everyone wants Me to bring my car by so they can see it! Get off your lazy dead ass and come to me to see it!

Wow, well that sucks. I do always worry and try to park it where I can keep it in sight, but sometimes that is not possible. Sounds like we need to rope it off with an armed guard. LOL. I don't blame you at all. Been lucky so far, nothing like that has happened to me. Yet.

    Solo7777,

My wife and I both have CWPs and both are great shots. Carjacking is another concern because it happens a lot in Tampa.

Ugh! That sucks! I was lucky that they fenced my baby off at the show. The incident at the gym in his first week was enough to make me a little overcautious about where I park him and who touches him. I'm totally with you on the LOOK DON"T TOUCH!!

My dealer has some kind of system on his cars that will notify you practically immediately by text if the car is moved an inch. You can also instantly disable it, it is not cheap but probably worth it. I gotta call him and ask, it is not the one offered by Mopar, something else. At least, that is what he told me. Cool on the CWP's.

I was the victim of an attempted car jacking last summer in my GT-R when I got in my car at a local bank. The thug went "holy f*ck that's a huge gun! I was carrying a Colt Delta Elite 10mm 1911. He and his buddy threw their knives and ran! Always keep a gun in the car between console and passenger seat.

BKuz - Cool you're in the Tampa area. That's where I plan to end up this summer after I retire and start a second career in the area. Will definitely need to hook up. But more importantly, I think I will need some insight on Tampa being high in car-jacking. I would hate for that to occur to you or me.

solo7777 - you will have to let us know what the system/device is. It sounds like it would be worth the money for peace of mind.
