Just started yesterday. M6 with 900 miles on it. Really sounds and feels pretty bad when in first gear.

No I got 1100 miles no problems yet on anything I haven't gave it all it has but have went through the gears pretty good but no problems . I do make sure I'm straight when I push the gas in sport mode . Learned alittle with my SS camaro RS 426 HP nothing like the hellcat but will turn you around in a second with a M6 if you got traction off and not straight you couldn't drove a nail up my butt lol in my hellcat I don't shift untill I got good rpms up I try to keep rpm up when I'm shifting gears just my habit

Does it only do it if your trying to take off easy my car try's to stall all the time if I go easy like I can't drive stick I've driven one other m6 and his car was way better then mine when driven easy
Thinking of bringing to dealer myself
Just getting in my garage is a joke as I have to go over my floor lift and stall it all the time

What you discribe almost sounds like an ignition issue whether it be coil plug or even timing. Take it in let us know what is the cause.

I think 1st gear is too tall, very easy to stall. My pedal grabs when almost all the way out and no free play! At a idle with clutch out mph is 8,who can pull into a garage at 8mph:eek:
After some research i found out no pedal/linkage adjustment so i went out for a few hours with the radio down and got use to it.

Mine sort of does that going into second if I don't let everything warm up. For clarity, I start car and immediately drive out down the road to the stop sign. Take a right and shift from 1st to second and it sort of shudders. Might do it one more time at after next stop sign but then it goes away. If I let my car sit at idle for 3-5 minutes before going after initial start up, it doesn't do that.

Yes that's good I been driving M6 for years and I usually run a long distance in first gear not running high RPMS just to let trans fluid to warm up and it shifts. Better just something I do especially in cold weather . My last car was SS camaro convertable RS 426 HP M6 and did same with it no problems I like my trans fluid to warm some before I shift gears

My car also runs about that fast in first gear I just let out a little and coast in garage but my clutch grabs when I let it out alittle quick grab not much slack atall when I let out you best be ready to go

Have you paid attention to your gas tank and the level you are at. I'm not sure if this this could happen with an M6 or without a tune. But I had this popping happen if the dash light read low miles. Not First gear, but First gear shifting in other cars I owned seem to take alot of gas once you get it in gear and wanting to go fast.
I'm thinking you might be having fun and taking off pretty quick.
Which caused a popping sound in my car with my car at low miles going down the track.
See if this happens at a half tank of gas.

    Linda :)
