I'm planning on having my hood wrapped soon. I know that several others here have already done that and it was necessary to remove the plastic hood vent / intake hardware in order to do the job right. I'd hate to have an inexperienced (Hellcat Hood) vinyl installer damage the hardware while trying to remove those pieces. I'd like to be proactive and let him know what's involved up front so as to avoid the hassle of damage, bad feelings, waiting for parts, etc. Does anyone have knowledge of the proper way to do this? Advice is greatly appreciated! Maybe we could also post this in the WIKI section in case others need this information down the road. Thanks!!

It takes 5 minutes using a 10mm socket. I took mine out and replaced them with a set I painted red. Kept the originals in case I want to switch back. Don't sweat it. Post s pic of your good when it's done.
