am I missing something here..? My heated steering wheel turns off after a few seconds after I turn it on. If I turn it on again it usually stays on. Is there some condition that turns it off like if it's warm enough in the cabin? I want it to stay on no matter what

If the controlling module detects a circuit fault, it will abort. Best get it looked at.

It should only shuts off after several minutes. I would have it checked and register your car on dodge.com. They will email you with updates and recalls.

I believe there is a TSB for this and an update to the software on the CRT addresses it. Mine does this as well, going to get it addressed at the first oil change. It is annoying, I would rather have had a small button on the wheel for this.

Mine does the exact same thing. very annoying. Thanks for the heads up on the TSB. I was also planning to get it checked out with the first oil change.

This is a software issue. Other mopars have the same issue. This should be an easy fix at the dealer.
