    UPDATE...NOW ORDERED.

I'm looking to buy a Hellcat to ship to the UK.
Must be auto with nav, and have most options as I like a very high specification.
A used mint car or a new one is OK.
As for colour, green preferred but I'll consider anything else.

Or if anyone in the UK has one, or has one arriving soon, let me know!

Welcome aboard Steven. This site and the great guys and girls on here can provide you with a wealth of information and you will need to do a bit of homework.
First off you cannot buy a Charger from a US or Canadian dealership. They are not allowed to sell you one.
Your best bet is to do what HF11CAT did and by one from a UK American car specialist like Charles at 51state autos. As for availability you might have to wait a long time or if you want it soon pay a dealer mark up to get it. Probably $10,000 over list would see Charles getting you a car fairly quickly.
Keep in touch with how you get on

I think a good option is to communicate with Graemel. There is another forum member from the UK here as well. I'm sure they can give you some insight. Good Luck

Many thanks Snappycat. I would be glad to help but having been through VON hell since September and where we are with allocation at the moment. We all pretty much know that if you want to buy a Challenger now you are going to have to pay at least $10,000 over msrp. Now Steve might be willing to do that but he still has to have someone stateside to place the order.
The next problem you have is. Is your stateside contact a stand up guy. Sending $66,000 to the US for someone to buy your car is a big worry. He could a) keep the dollars. b) buy the car and keep it for himself.
Then you have to arrange collection from the dealer. The car has to be titled in your buyers state. So really they need to be in a state that has no car tax as mine was. Once titled you have to organise shipping and get the car to the docks.
I am lucky as my mechanic who is big into Mopar stuff is a good mate. His guy stateside is a big Mopar guy and has his own shop and Brian has known him an age. But I had to put my trust in Brian that his mate was a stand up guy. I'll be honest and say that both my wife and my business partner had big reservations about me doing this. I was worried too. It would be a big chunk of change to loose and set me back big time. Plus the wife would have killed me.
If I were to do it all again now I would go through a UK dealer. Let them take the risk and the strain and let them have a bit of profit for their effort.
Back in August last year when I placed a deposit no American car dealer in the UK was offering the Hellcat. In fact nothing appeared until January and I was hoping I would have my cat before Christmas. Like a lot of you guys and girls that have been disappointed. At least I feel I am on the home run. The next big hurdle is seeing my Cat unloaded from its container hopefully on the 25th and undamaged. My next biggest fear.

It has been a lot easier using Charles at 51st State. If I'd tried to source the car myself, I would have give up by now. It's still stressful, keep getting broken promises and as expected the top line price has changed from what was agreed. Wasn't prepared to argue the toss so just gave in and agreed. I'm sure it will be all worth it once I'm in the car. I should have got my original Challenger Hellcat (sublime) back in November?. My Charger hellcat should have been shipped from Bremerhaven over the Easter weekend but is delayed for some reason. Charles tells me it is booked for its SVA on the 10th and will still make. I'm a bit worried as still not seen a physical picture of the actual car.

Where are you based in UK? What is your current car?

    Hi and welcome Steven,

Charles at 51st State Autos has 2 Charger Hellcats arriving, one sold to me and another in black. It should arrive at the same time as mine, around 11th April at his premises in London. Charles is great to deal with and this will be my 4th car provided from Charles. You will pay top money for the car but will be worth it. Paul

Thanks guys. I've now ordered a black car from Charles at 51st State. Thanks for the advice.

By the way, HF11CAT I love your reg plate, and my current toy cars are Porsche 991 Turbo S Cab, Macan Turbo, and an XJ220(S).

Guess I've got to find a decent plate from the DVLA now.
