    Hello all

I have received a lot of questions about the CQuartz coating just applied to my new cat.. Please see the below link for a full in detail process of how it is applied and more importantly the PREP process on an actual HELLCAT... Hope this helps my fellow Hellcat brothers and sisters when making the decision to have this completed. Just do your homework on making sure you have a CERTIFIED installer and the PREP process. The amount of scratches, swirls, iron, etc that our poor cats go through coming from Brampton is outta control. On top of that my paint is literally ten steps above the stock factory showroom finish now!!

    Hope this helps...

It is that good and well worth it. No doubt. If you put mine next to another torred without it looks like a different paint job..

Saweet!!!! Also, I have the 3M clear bra on both my rides. The installer also does Xpel. I need to talk to him about which is the better.

XPEL for sure. I have suntek on my srt GC and the xpel is about 25% more I did it on the cat as I wanted to compare really what is better. Hands down xpel and a 10year warranty. Way less orange peel and virtually invisible with the Quartz on it. From what I know 3m for clear shield is eons behind suntek and xpel now. I used to use 3m back in the day on everything but now it's just not there anymore.

    Good luck!

Mine took 60 hours to do... All CarPro products entire exterior , interior and glass, wheels, fender panels, everything done, all warranties linked that way. XPel next. Big debate on applying XPel over CQF, 0 problems with adhesion then adhesion compund is attached to CQF instead of paint clear coat.

Did they take pics of steam clean, foam soak to remove impurities and all the steps in front of what's shown in the thread link? Would be good to add em so people understand how much work goes into it start...finish. And pics of UV/IR cure (if they did it, on mine yes but not really necessary.)

Nice. No need for the uv cure here in as unless it's dec which still isn't bad.

Didn't take pics of the foam bath or iron x. Lot of work tremendous amount. I have a mtm foam cannon I will be using with car pro reset. Then have the re load spray as well. No one is touching here except me and my detailer.

Xpel wasn't applied over the Quartz. Quartz was applied over the Xpel. Made that Xpel look 10 times better and slippery as snot ;)

Lol thanks. I had the clear plex acrylic shield put on the windshield also.
Between everything was like 4300 bones with tint. But worth it for real protection and when it looks the way it does.
