Im looking to order a Jazzy Blue Hellcat on Brass Monkey Wheels I have some questions on ordering and deposit and all that from you guys that have ordered and received them.

    1. Should be looking to take a very large down payment ($10,000+) Or will an ok down payment be enough ($5,000-$7500) be ok with a reasonable monthly payment?
    2. Will the $1,000 deposit go toward the down payment also?
    3. THE MAIN QUESTION IS I KNOW THAT THE 2015 HELLCATS WERE KINDA LIMITED WITH ALL THE ORDERS FCA RECEIVED BUT WHAT IS THE AVERAGE WAIT TIME TO RECEIVE MY CAR? IVE SEEN 10-12 WEEKS BUT IVE SEEN SOME PPL SAY THEYVE WAITED LONGER.

Yes, its apparent that you are new to the site. Welcome :)

$1000 deposit is certainly sufficient and yes, it applies towards your down payment. The larger the down payment, the lower your monthly payments
but "reasonable" monthly payments is highly subjective. Google "loan payment calculator" and there are lots of great sites with input areas for
price of car (may or may not have an input for sales tax rate so include that if they don't), down payment and interest rates to let you play around
and see how your payment changes with various values for downpayment. Having said that, that's the easy part: finding a dealer that will actually
be able to deliver your car is your greater challenge. Lots of great info on this site, a lot of caveats and warnings and lessons hard learned, and the
odd horror story, but you'll have lots to read.

Read as much as you can here and research, research, research before order banks open.

    i wouldnt bother ordering one

wait until winter and just find one sitting at a dealer lot....middle of winter you will find your car.....order it and you may just sit and not get your car.......those who make things happen get a car, those that sit and order and just hope things will happen for them sometimes find themselves with nothing

guy i know just picked up a A8 this past week....kept calling and eventually one just showed up and he got it.......sounds like A8's are back shipping in Challengers again

dont get why anyone orders a specialty car....some got lucky with their orders, many didnt

I say $500 is a fine deposit to hold a car. I did not order new but called around last month, found one arriving in a few weeks and did a $500 deposit over the phone.
My credit union requires 10% down of NADA to get the best rate.
