I am sure this has been addressed already on this site somewhere but I could not find it.

I noticed , on my garage floor dark nasty water spots in the middle of
Where my car is parked. Past experience told me exhaust leaks.
Sure enough , right under that drivers and passenger seats where the exhaust pipes are clamped together , I seen seen water dripping when I first started my car then it stopped after the pipes got hot.
I tightened the bolts as tight as u could , even with an electric impac gun and still water drips. I got to cat it up in the air on a lift and felt by the pipes and sure enough, I felt air coming out of the pipes.
Any ideas on fixing this problem???
I went to a Muffler place to have it welded and they said it may void the factory warranty. Ugh !!!
    What to do ???

It's under warranty. Get an expert opinion from your third-party exhaust shop, drop them $40 for taking a half hour of their time, and then head to your dealer for the recommended fix (if any).

I've used permatex ultra copper maximum temp rtv on a leaky exhaust ball and socket joint on my prior GT500 and it worked great. Simply took the clamp off and seperated the joint and applied a small amount around the socket and reclamped. Never had an issue after that.

Unless the gap is massive - it will seal itself with corrosion

Going to the dealership is a hassle for what could be an easy fix if I can do it myself. I am pretty protective of my car and I seen mechanics abuse cars because I work for car dealerships as a vender for 20 years. Do not trust most of them !

The mufflers and resonators have small holes to let the condensation out. Leaks around joints is an issue unless the joint is sealing as soon as the pipe gets hot...

Had the car running for at least 10 min, and then tried to tighten the bolts. Bolts are as tight as I can without fear of breaking the bolts. I had the car up on a lift and I felt exhaust air leaking out if both pipes right where they connect under the briber and pass, seat.

Just get some old coke cans and cut the top and bottoms off. Wrap them around the pipe and secure w clamps. Piece of cake and looks great too!

If it doesn't leak out, it will just blow out the back - learn to love it.
