I'm still waiting on my Hellcat to be built. Are most happy with the stock exhaust sound? Are many changing to aftermarket exhaust?

Mine is my daily driver...so don't want to go too crazy with the exhaust until I start modding it (after warranty expires).

I think it's plenty loud on cold start up and at WOT. No drone at cruising speed.

I'd spend the cash on a driveshaft...or drag radials.

I think the exhaust is as close to perfect as any factory car I have ever seen. I would not be in a hurry if you do decide to change as IMO lots of thought and engineering went into this stock exhaust. Press a button on a touch screen and the car gets louder, How cool is that? Upgrading will be hard to do IMO as SRT has this right!

I'd like a slightly louder, deeper, fuller exhaust note.

Maybe a simple axle-back would do the trick

At idle, it's nice sounding but relatively tame. I'd prefer it to be a little meaner sounding but it's hard to complain about it. When you pump the pedal a couple times it's real clear the car means business.

Don't need a cop magnet, get the driveshaft and DRs like Next Phase said

I'm still not sure I believe that setting the car in track mode makes the exhaust valves act any different. It certainly doesn't open the exhaust up like it is when you first hit the start button, nor when you punch the throttle 100%. It might make it open a little sooner if anything at all, but certainly doesn't hold them open.

Are the A8s louder than the M6 cars?

well i did cutouts for when the occasion asks for obnoxiously loud and i also just removed the mufflers last week. No drone at all just made it a little louder at idle (alot louder during warm up) and while cruising. On throttle it sounds amazing and under full throttle it makes people cry. perfect!

My stock exhaust is plenty loud, especially at 0530 when I'm leaving for work. In Sport or Track modes the idle is noticeable but tame, and that works for me. I worry that an aftermarket exhaust will make my Cat too loud and our HOA doesn't play.

The first things I did to a new car were tint and exhaust. With this I don't have to worry about the exhaust and put that money to something else.

I have Zoomers on my 08 SRT8 Challenger, the Hellcat exhaust stays as is.

I build custom stainless exhaust systems for high end hot rods. The stock exhaust system is near perfect. Don't screw with it!

Hellcat exhaust sounds better than anything we had in the sixtys. I"m suprised that it"s even considered street legal.
