Was taken for an other worldly experience in a vehicle today, sad to say that it was a lot quicker than our Hellcats.

Hellcats are 0-100 in high 6's to 7 second cars. This car today, that I had a very exhilarting quick ride, does that in in 4.9 seconds. WOW How about 0-60 in the 2's

Acceleration would not quit, and it really pinned me in the seat up to maybe 150, BTW the handling was also fantastic.

Porsche 918 with 887 hp and 944 ft/lb off torque, with a price tag to match, flat crank V8 and I think he said 3,600 lbs.

That was quite a thrill and took about 20 minutes for the adrenaline to subside and I do appreciate when my passengers squawk , because I was that passenger today

BTW not a Supercar, but a HYPERCAR

LOL. Price tag doesn't match. Not at $845,000. Price far exceeds the car's abilities.

The racing Intrepid Cruiser kart I have in my garage would also out-corner any Hellcat in this forum, but it's a kart. I seriously considered getting a GT-R but it's stiff as shit. Not a good daily driver. The Hellcat can be comfortably driven every single day and it's a pleasure. I've been in more expensive and faster cars. But none with the combination of power, comfort and exclusivity. I don't know anyone with a Noble. But those that do, don't drive them to work every day. The list goes on.

I was on a 747 today, torque seemed like a lot more than the HC :)

Wanted to just add some photos. This was a once in a lifetime experience.

This is the first car, and only street car, that I can admit that is quicker than our Hellcats. There aren't many that can!

Was difficult to get into, I mean fell into the cockpit.

BTW this friend definitely wants and will get a ride in my Charger Hellcat.

Anybody else have any awesome experiences?

Of the many reasons I went for the HC over the ZO6 (wait for it, I'll come around to the thread in a second...) was that it was reasonably practical to drive around Colorado.

Someone I know quite well who worked in one of the better autobody shops in the area was constantly telling me about all of the Vettes that would come in with road/gutter/curb damage.

This is an awesome car I'm sure, but talk about having to map out your route so that you don't end up high-centered somewhere... or picking up pieces of your underbody...

Not a practical car and we probably could purchase 10 Hellcats for the price of one of those 918 Hybrids

What are you smoking?? Have you researched the 918 Spyder? Do you know the significance of this car?

Do some reading before saying dumb stuff like that.

That is a beautiful car and sounds like you had a blast. Very Cool. That is a car most of us could only dream of owning, and I would jump at the chance of owning one if I could afford it. Still love my CAT though....even if it is just a tad bit slower....:D
