I have severly stretched saggy bad laguna leather on my drivers side. Dodge has denied my claim to replace the leather covering so if anyone on here works for dodge or srt and can help me get this leather replaced that would be great. Also anyone who has had this problem with there laguna leather and had it fixed under warranty can you please give me the dodge case number so I can send it to dodge to prove other people are having this problem and got theres fixed under warranty. Any help you can give me would be great

I have the base seats ( black )
mine were bad at the bolsters and got replaced. They were not stretched proper from deliver or the truck driver was 500 lbs.
I complained about it at delivery they took photos and opened a file on it.

It took several months to get it replaced but it was handled in one follow up visit.

possible you could have an upholster take a look at it if was denied

Try using the search function. There are quite a few people who have reported this issue and had it fixed under warranty. The issue is not the leather per se, but rather the amount of foam in the seat. Affected people who have had the fix have been happy with the results.

Contact FCA directly through Facebook. It is the fastest way to get attention to your issue.

My car had the exact same problem and my local dodge dealer had no problem getting a replacement cover approved. However, after doing the research replacing the cover will not fix the problem. The foam behind the cover is the issue and you have two solutions to fix the problem. Option one is to add foam to fill the void, but you will reduce the efficiency of the ventilated seats. The second option is to have the leather tightened by having a trim shop remove about an 1" of leather from the seat cover. This is the route I chose and the seat now looks perfect. The cost to me was $150 and I then contacted SRT customer service for reimbursement. I am not holding my breath that FCA will send me the check, but my time is more valuable than wasting it on repairs that will not fix the issue. I have heard rumors that there is a possible TSB to resolve this issue by replacing the seat foam and the cover, so I guess a third option is to sit tight and wait for FCA to fix the problem.

Bravo, this is most definitely the best way to go. Good auto upholsterers are like artists. They can fix just about anything. I don't have my car yet, but I did order Laguna leather. I would rather pay my upholstery guy some bucks to stretch the cover, or add foam before I let the dealer mess it up.

Are you expecting Dodge to replace the area that your GF/Wife damaged trying to clean, or just the seat back?
