Any new hot car is probably going to be marked up. While there are a lot of people that would not bite, there are just as many that would. Remember the Plymouth prowler when it first came out? I believe that was marked up 20K+ too. It is not surprising at all. Thanks for the link.

The GT500 was 5K over for as long as I could remember.......ZL1, ZR1, ZO6 all marked up over MSRP.........I don't understand what the shock is to everyone who is in the low production car market............It has been this way as long as I have been the car market..........

I remember seeing a 10k mark up on a Nissan 350z when they first came out. Most dealers are slime, the sales manager and the gm at my dealer had both bought Hellcats, the first two delivered to the dealer as a matter of fact. When I bought mine they were asking if I was going to ship it overseas and sell it for a profit....that was both their plan. Luckily the owner made them sign an agreement stating they wouldn't sell it for 6 months to negate this.

Didn't matter though, two jack wagons bought a Hellcat (and probably at MSRP) for nothing more than to flip, tried to charge me 10k over sticker, and then wanted to be friends. They're lucky I bought it on a Friday and not throat punch Thursday.
