Okay, after 400 miles in the new cat I came to one solid conclusion. This car is priced way too low! Compared to other vehicles including the vette. What gives? Way more bang for the buck over a diesel truck or Tahoe/suburban yet priced similar. This car could easily sticker 10-20k more and it is more than worth it. The viper on the showroom floor was stickered at $139k. Definitely a cool car, but for the speed I can throw the wife in the passenger seat, kids in the back, and cruise Woodward. Can't do that in a vette or viper. The car is simply amazing. Way more than I expected. Beautiful paint, comfortable as hell, great ride, awesome radio, sounds bad ass, and runs like a bat out of hell! Or... You can get a slower vette, cramped, hard as hell to get out of, can't take anyone with you so you never drive it, and choppy ride. Hmmm...

Not debunking ur theory, i agree somewhat. But comparing bang for the buck with diesel pickups and full sized SUV's seems odd to me. Most of them are 4x4 and can tow/haul and so im sure those owners would say the HC is just a toy thats good for not much other than crusing around lol.
Someone who is towing frequently or hauling the family of six around would disagree im sure.
Im with ya though, these things are ridiculous gobs of fun, endless smiles.

It's a high performance race car. I own the truck, and believe me it doesn't hold a candle to the Hellcat. I know, comparing apples to oranges, but I can't get over how extreme this thing is.

I agree with the OP and the 2015 was even a better bang for the buck.

I can't stand comments like the op. What's wrong with the consumer finally getting a bargain? It doesn't happen that often. They already increased sticker and option prices. I hope you went to a dealer that charged am since you have extra money to give away. 2015's were priced right. 2016's are not, in my opinion. $70k for Challengers and Chargers is kinda crazy, when you think about it.

Interesting that you would pay Dodge $2000 to cut a hole in your roof.

Reason one...because they don't make it in a convertible, and Reason two, is to annoy everyone who doesn't think there should be a sunroof option. It was nice of FCA to give us more choices than many manufacturers of high performance vehicles.
