Very nice. Today I took a first gen (2007 - 2009) CLS AMG 63 and walked away from him from 70 - 140. I tell you what, this was the first time I really pushed the car hard for more than going from 30 to 80 or so. The hellcat pulls like a freight train all the way to 140+. I was 6+ cars by the time I let out of it. Top speed said 140.

I am impressed with the HC performance

    Race from a dead stop.

I'd still take him from a dead stop,

Try racing the new ones with the 5.5L Biturbo V8. No need to get excited about racing and beating the older cars.

Ali, do you guys meet at brewings on 249? Someone in a nice Ram R/T told me about that at a red light the other day. Just curious if you're in that group. I'm too old to be street racing but wanted to ask.

The meetings on 249 are filled with kids, we usually go out as a private group
    Just text me whenever!

Looks to me that those e55s are making more than 530rwhp to be gaining on the HC up top. I ran a bolt on e55 that claimed 510rwhp in my heads cam 06 300srt that makes 490rwhp, from a 20-140 roll we were dead even, from a dig I out launched him and won by a car to 120. Either way, nice runs.

The only thing holding back the old AMG's when racing the new cars is the A5 vs A8 transmissions. I'm sure if they had the A8 transmissions, the races would have been way closer.
