Driver error. I have beat my buddy's scat pack like a drum several times and he's a great driver.

Scatpack has 255's stock and HC has 275's stock.......that shows you how bad the HC guy launched.....thats why i didnt get the 6 speed

how many guys are getting horrible 0-60's in the 4 second range....some M6 guys are 4.5 seconds.....not saying i can launch a 6 speed good either........but that video shows the need of that guy to practice 0-60's for sure

sad to watch.....ill bet the 392 is happy as hell and telling everyone he knows

OMG horrible launch. The 392 can smash the throttle the HC can't and that is what they did. Now show me the video of them at the end of the 1/4 mile. Compare all you want the HC will spank the 392 like a red headed stepchild. End of discussion.

give them both 305 DR's and watch the 392 kick its ass the exact same with the same drivers

friend has 392 scat and i was shocked to see those skinny 255's......

i remember getting 4.5's with my a5 392 and 4.3 one time......give that same car 10 more hp and an 8 speed and 4.3 or lower will be common for a good driver......now most of the m6 HC guys cant beat him 0-60......if i were the 392 i would stop at 60 and say i won.....1/4 mile-----he may or may not catch up....he was really behind

OMG please....so I bought the slower car!? Damnit! Hahah I'll take the Pepsi challenge with a 392 any day. I see them around but they never wanna play with the cat. I'll go out of my way next time to see if I can get beat.

Put on your stock tires and he will probably spank your A8 Hellcat in the street from a dig.
Then you would make the excuse that he had Nitto drag radials.
All that showed me is the difference between traction and no traction....period.

By the way Huggy....the timers on the last gen 392's were a JOKE and totally inaccurate as they could and would be fooled with wheel spin......so those 0 to 60 numbers are like blinker fluid....

didnt notice the DR's...sorry.....may be true with DR's 392 vs P1 HC....all depends how relaxed i am......i believe my 4.30 0-60 on my 392 was correct.......i know it could be fooled with tire spin.....i never had traction issues with my RSA's.....my ego depends on that timer, say it aint true!!!

i can get good traction with my A8 HC.....not at the track when it counts because im too wound up though....so in a similar situation he may get me too, but not as badly

Getting a good launch in the cat is pretty hard. Getting a great launch is dang near like finding a unicorn. you have to account for traction conditions and tires and revs and clutch slip and tire spin and driver nerves. It's a lot to get right each time. No doubt the scat pak is fast with the auto and it moves fast off the line.

Out of 25 or so passes at the track with my old M6 Hellcat, I never ran slower than 11.95 or 124 mph, with a best of 11.6 @ 126.... 3.8 0-60..

It would take a 75 -100 shot on slicks for a 392 to best that.. And it still wouldnt even come close to the 126 mph trap speed.
