So I've been out of town on business for a month and have another 5 weeks to go.
Of course I miss my family terribly, they've visited last week for the Easter weekend, and are coming again next week for 4 days, so that helps.
But driving a rental car for this long is weighing on me, I miss the Hellcat.
I had a new BMW M6 (got to admit, it looked sweet and sounded badass) pull up next too me yesterday, and dang it, it was killing me that I wasn't in the HC.
It sucks too as I've been out of town during the perfect spring driving weather.
Luckily it's rare for me to be out of town this long on business.

At least you have one. My order has been in since March 15. Rolls out of the plant Tuesday finally.

I went for a ride last night because we got snow today. Probably a week before I drive it again because of the salt on roads now. Nothing like a bad day at work and garage opens and there is your baby!!!!

Except living where it is already 80°, walking out of a bad day of work, and getting in...oh wait...crap my car is still in Canada. Ok, so it's like a bad day at work, walk out and jump in a big diesel truck.

Yeah that's true. But you still have one. Take some pics and videos with you. I know it isn't the same but it satisfies when you got the bug

I sympathize! I miss Dante ... the car the dealership loaned me to drive until the new Cat arrives is cute, but OMG .. .it is sucking the life out of me. It is a R/T Charger, but it is SO quiet, and it has no "get up and go" power in that 5.7L as compared to the Cat. I hate to say it, but I have been driving Mr. Ed more than the loaner car. (Mr. Ed is what I named my "errand car" ... a 2005 Ford Explorer.

    Charger R/T isn't bad.
My rental is a Grand Caravan R/T
nothing really R/T about a minivan however.

Can I suggest you name your Plum Crazy Hellcat "Prince" instead of Jimi. This way you can rain down purple on people. :D

I like some of Prince's music ... but Jimi Hendrix was a god on a guitar! Jimi all the way!

Jimi was a druggie and was violent, especially if he drank. Any man proven to have hit a woman...in Jimi's case breaking a bottle over a woman's head, isn't worth supporting.
Prince is a superior all around musician, songwriter, entertainer and not only plays a mean guitar, but plays other instruments as well. Though I don't even own a Prince album/CD, when I think of Purple and music, he's the guy that comes to mind first.
O.J. was a great running back too, some considered him one of the best at the time, but wouldn't name anything after him either. Just sayin. :D

Had an M5 roll parallel to me for about 3-5 miles. Dude never revved up or did anything but rubberneck looking at my car and the logo. I kind of wanted him to try me but he didn't. The M5 is fast, guess he submitted. I honked and rolled out.

Mine has been in storage since December. We just had snow again, so I'll wait until the road salt is washed away. It has been a long wait.
