In the video below, you can hear 3 knocks at 11, 15, and 16 seconds when I apply the brakes firmly 3 times. I can feel the knock in the shifter as well. I can reproduce it both in gear and in neutral. I can also hear it when I go over a speed bump.

    Any ideas what this is?

there was an active damper recall on my car, long shot but check into it.
a code came up and the dealer had to replace some parts.

has to do with the car bouncing up and down, I would suspect when you hit the brakes the car suspension moves a bit and creates the noise.

Hmmm you care barely hear it... but given it happens in neutral it could be something on the output shaft as that spins with the driveshaft. All the sliders and syncros are on that shaft. Try it again only this time push in on the clutch in this will stop the input and counter shaft from rotating. It will narrow it down a little. I don't know why the brakes would cause it... interesting.

Does it clutch in and out, if you get on the car balls to the wall you can hear it again too, almost sounds like its coming from the console, I even emptied the center console, thinking rattle of some sort. Didn't help....seems to happen when the car is just warmed up, seems to go away later in the day.

It has to be a knackered transmission bush of some sort

My guess is it is has to do with a syncro or clip on the shaft...sounds like a trip to the dealer for warranty.

I took it in, got an oil change@3800, got the Harman Kardon TSB loaded (Safety Recall Notice - Dodge Challenger Forum: Challenger & SRT8 Forums), and the knock looked at.

No update on the knock. Couldn't find anything blatantly wrong. Checked many things.

That being said, it wasn't knocking on the way home (that's a first) but I will check again in the AM when it is cold an it knocks a lot more.
