Just installed new HHP PCM, car tries to start but then dies immediatly. No codes
is there a red dot flashing in the cluster? if so, the PCM needs to be programmed with SKIM code.
yes it is. what is that? and how?
the PCM must communicate with the BCM (body control module) and RFH (radio frequency hub). all 3 must be programmed with a matcing secret code. once code is verified by all 3 modules, it will allow the engine to run. pretty sure HHP PCMs come pre-programmed with your VIN and code.
yes I gave them the vin, what do I do now?????? take it back out?
I don't know how to contact Josh.
should i try to save the existing tune and load stock one. If i can do that without screwing up everything
does the red dot flash?
best call HHP before messing with the tune.
if you can't resolve this right away, reinstall your stock PCM to get you mobile.
had a thought, that it wasn't starting because the hood was open. Shut it, disconnected battery for a few minutes but it doesn't even try to turn over now.

You need to get in touch with AJ
Also check your connections and clear any codes.
It may be something easy for AJ to check
I ran the diag,
no codes other than flashing red light
I had tried about 6 times to start it with hood open tho.
I know you are excited for the change.
Send AJ an email with your info and the problems you are having.
It could very well be the pcm. Only AJ can fix that.
Take FC's advice and put the stock pcm back in.
