So remember a few months ago when aFe was taking deposits for their intakes? Well, I put my deposit down (and was one of the last people to get on the list) and was told my order should be ready to ship in August. Well, August rolls around and Simon Gonzales sends me an email saying that my order is ready to ship and that he will send a final invoice for the final payment.

A coupe days go by - all right, they probably have a lot of orders.
A week - Hmmm. Maybe still backed up. I'll send them an email.
2 weeks - I'll send them another email, just from 2 different email accounts in case one got sent to spam.
3 weeks - Still nothing. Figure I'l call and try and talk to someone, but.... voicemail inbox's every time. I'll leave a voicemail.
That week I called EVERY day. 3 times a day. Left at least one voicemail per day.
    1 MONTH - No contact.

Has anyone else had an issue? One of my friends backed out on his and had a really hard time getting his deposit reimbursed, and I'm trying to hold hope that a company like aFe wouldn't scam someone for a measly one hundred dollars (or however much my deposit was).
Honestly, I don't even want the damn thing now. They said it was like a 40hp boost - try more like 7hp.

Just want to see if anyone else is having any issues of the same type, or if I just pulled the lucky card for this hassle.

Here is the guy I've been trying to get a hold of's information:

    Simon Gonzales
    Company: 951.493.7100
    Direct Line: 951.493.7133
    Email: sgonzales@afepower.com

    Thanks all!
Have a good night and drive safe!

AFE ( aFe POWER ) is a supporting vendor here. I'm going to move your post into their area.

You are correct in that supporting vendors can control the content in their sub-forums. My intent in moving it was to get the OP visibility to aFE. We know they monitor their sub-forum but they may not see posts elsewhere unless they follow the forum.

Hopefully the OP gets in touch with someone from aFE to get the product they are looking for.

On the flip side, a month or so ago, a couple of us were returning our CAI's and we were having a problem with no response. Anyway, HCDC some how contacted Josh.....and on a Saturday night (go figure)...Josh replied that very night. Apologized for the delay and would take care of it on Monday....he was good on his word....mailed back on Wednesday with supplied labels.....

Might try sending a PM to CK and HCDC....;);)

Wow, first I've heard of an issue, and would like to look into everything further. I'm not sure what number/voicemail you're getting, but this all sounds extremely odd, I'm sorry for your experience. I think many here can account for our customer service, I'd like to get this settled.

I will get back into the office and look into everything, if you have immediate concerns beyond this post please PM me or email at joshb@afepower.com. We will get this settled ASAP.

Kind of odd, AFE assisted me and returned all my phone calls. Even though I'm still upset at the gain number I got on my dyno.
