For those of you who have the m6, can you tell me how the hill assist work? I thought it was suppose to apply the break for a few seconds to give the driver time to engage clutch and give gas, but mine seem to do nothing. The car roll back immediately. Could it be broken? And yes I've check the box in the setting parameter. Thanks

I have HSA on my current R/T and I find it to be a hit or miss affair. I never know when it is going to work and when it isn't. I believe it takes a certain % grade for it to engage, but I don't know. I've been driving stick for so many years, I find HSA to be more trouble than it's worth.

I believe it is an angle/degree thing. It must operate on some type of gyro but that is a guess on my part without researching it. If it's not a decent incline it won't work. My wife's Jetta has it as well as my HC and they work the same.
