Had my Charger in for an oil change today and they did an update on the HK amp while I was there. I was fairly happy with the HK before but I had the bass cranked all the way up to get anything out of the woofers. After the flash today the bass went WAY up. I had to crank it down about 5 steps to keep the rumble down. It sounds like it's where it should have been all along.

Really wired because on my Challenger the Bass has always been really strong. I always keep the level down and it rocks.

From other posts I've read on here it seems like there were differences in many cars.

Bass I don't have a problem with. I have mine set on -6 believe it or not. It's the loudness of the speakers. I even have static popping sound when listening to the iPod connectivity which I've never heard before.

    I have a Challenger though.

There was a huge difference when I had the re-flash done. I don't think it's perfect meaning I've heard better but I happy with it now... it was tough to listen to before.

Yes, the flash today made a huge difference. I also had to drop the volume from 17 to 12. I was pretty happy with it before but now it's a blaster.

Same here. I had mine in last week for another radiator replacement and asked them about a flash. They said I was current, but I swear it now sounds worse than before... before I did not have the static popping sound and now I do....

You can go to the Uconnect website, put in your VIN and it will tell you if their is a flash update for the radio/nav. I took delivery of my 2016 Charger in March 2016 and flash updates were current

The re-flash is for the amp. Audio amp update. The other one is a security update for the radio itself. Both dealer only.

I just had this RRT done to my Cat....I guess it was an improvement overall, but not as good as I was hoping for. The bass does seem to hit a little harder....

I wish they would make a flash to make this $2,000 stereo actually loud. :( For that kind of paper it should make your ears bleed if desired.
