Tried holding the TC off button, but only got me to "sport" setting.
Found that in slippery hills in snow need to have the TC fully off to make any progress.

Hold for 5-10 seconds at a full (or 2-3 mph max) stop until you hear the chime. Then it's full off. If you need help to get going though, Sport should be enough as it will allow you to spin tires as much as you want in a straight line.. Once yaw angle is detected then the stability control will kick in. If you turn it completely off make sure to re-enable once you no longer need it as it will get sideways VERY easily.

    Thanks
I did have it in sport but in snow it does get sideways as you are trying to go up a hill, and that cuts power and momentum unfortunately.
Hopefully, we are close to being done with this damn snow!

no tc is a scary place to be with 707 hp

ive done it on the track and it is a high risk thing.....any loss of traction and you have to have the mindset of GIVEUP and go 40mph down the track......my last run of the year was spinning off the line and again at around 50-60 mph....i gave up quick......dont give up = you hit the wall and total your car

people still lose control in a straight line w/o TC

The quick way is to stand on one foot while hopping on the other and with your left hand patting the top of your head and your right hand rubbing you belly in a circular motion... Guaranteed you'll have no traction!...hmmm or was that no friends?:D Yeah better go with what the guys above said!;)

I drive mine all the time with the traction control off, I like to drift corners and do uninhibited burnouts when I want. Its 45 degrees here in Seattle and its not that big of a deal. The car drives like a cream puff until you get into it anyways. Guys are acting like any little squeeze of the throttle will change the rotation of the earth.
I wish I could set the custom mode to no traction control so the car would default to it whenever I start it.

Doesn't Track mode completely disable Traction Control?

I never do it. She gets out of shape with it fully engaged, so I'd hate to think what it'd be like with no TC at all.
