I AM NEW TO THIS FORUM. I LIVE IN UPSTATE NY AND PLAN ON PLACING MY HELLCAT ORDER IN A COUPLE OF WEEKS. I CURRENTLY DRIVE A 2010 SRT8. I SEE THAT A LOT OF YOU GUYS HAVE TAKEN DELIVERY OF YOUR HELLCATS. NOBODY HAS REALLY SAID HOW THEY LIKE OR DISLIKE THEM. MY QUESTION IS THIS. ARE YOU GLAD YOU BOUGHT IT? IS IT AS FAST AS THEY SAY IT IS? IS THERE ANYTHING YOU DON'T LIKE ETC. THANKS IN ADVANCE.

I love the car and it's a beast for sure. Maybe think of it like going from a base 6 cylinder challenger to your SRT8...and then add a few layers of added luxury.

Looks great, drives great, sounds great - no complaints at all for the car so far....the only thing that really put me off was the waiting process. I think Dodge fails miserably on the communications front and if was not for updates on this forum (thanks again to RS!), I think a few more would have walked away.

That being said, once you actually get your hands on the car, I doubt you will be disappointed and I imagine the wait will only improve down the road.

It is great reading about how happy everyone is once they receive their Hellcat, maybe the waiting actually makes the actual possession of the car that much more rewarding?

Took delivery on 12/19. LOVE the machine! Fast as heck! Fun to own! Wait was worth it, and IS part of the marketing ploy to keep the BUZZ going! Supply and demand! Trickle them out and keep the anticipation level high! I mean look at us all, I think it is a brilliant move by Dodge! All the more reason to invest in the parent company FCAU! Have fun with your Cats people!!

I traded in a 2013 392, and the Hellcat is a beast in comparison! I adore it! Sounds great, comfortable ride, and SO fast! I have had mine up to 120 mph so far, was smooth as glass! Took possession of mine, named Dante (yes, I name my cars) on 12/17, and my husband and I took a trip to Florida and back, resulting in Dante having 1200 miles. You will love yours when it comes in, trust me!

Don't speed past a cop, or you'll be done.

Night and day faster than my 2010 SRT, not even close. And I'm still somewhat babying it.. to give an idea, yesterday I'm driving in the rain on the highway at 70 mph, briefly punched the throttle (maybe a little less than half throttle), no tire spin and was immediately at 88 mph, LOL.

Your first investment should be a radar detector... mounted up my Escort Passport Max last night, went out actually looking for cops, but not a single peep from it for once.

Just put about 40 miles on it today. Maybe it is just me, but the whine seems louder in 30 degree weather
