I see 38 Hellcats sitting on lots across the country.

How much is it to ship a car from say Cali to NYC?

Personally, I think by first quarter of next year this car be easily available.

If your in nyc,, there are cars popping up daily in the Detroit area,, but I'm not sure if you live in cali and planning on moving to nyc,, but if I had to guess,I would say around 1100 -1400

Hah. Funny thing is I would pay for someone to drive it as long as the insurance wild cover as I would never make that trip.

I'm in nyc so im figuring I would go to the middle of the country at max.

    Detroit would be fine.

I wonder would a dealer bother with a swap. I doubt it.

I don't think you going to find a dealer to trade a hellcat for anything, but I'm sure you could find a dealer that has one or, has one coming in, or an allocation for one..Detroit to nyc is only 9 hours, you could have it shipped for around 500..... But it's so close you could come and get it

9 hours.... I did that once, I can't handle that in any way. Nyc to Virginia broke me.

Yeah I'm thinking the further we get into next year the closer I can get it.

I'm wondering if upstate NY dealers get allocations.

Problem is people in NYC will actually pay 10k over just becuase, it's nuts.

Sounds like your better off having it shipped, and start calling to get on the allocation list...

    That's what I'm thinking.

The build dates seem quicker now, like 6 weeks or so.

My lemon law case just commenced a month ago so I gotta time this. I'm dumping an srt8 Jeep back to Chrysler and it takes 5 months start to finish. So I'm thinking I should order in mid January or so.

As a data point you can go to Reliable Carriers web site, fill in some basic information and they'll email you a quote.
Had mine shipped from their HQ in Canton MI to Carlsbad CA for $2000 in 4days, enclosed and delivered to my house.
Not cheap but 1st class professional handling and worry free. Well worth it for me.

A buddy of mine had one shipped from adrain Mi to Florida in an enclosed trailer for around 900. It does sound like the turn around time to get a hellcat is nothing like it was before...So I think your in good shape

Call Reliable Carriers www.reliablecarriers.com or Intercity Lines www.intercitylines.com. They will tell you over the phone how much for enclosed transport. I used Intercity Lines last month to ship a 1934 Packard from Georgia to New Jersey, enclosed, for $1300.
