I posted a thread in detailing your car. I strongly suggest you not wax too often. The wax will build up and actually make your car look dull. It also promotes swirls in the finish.
Washing it is fine - with a car wash soap (not dish-washing liquid or the like).
Get a California Car Duster and use that to keep the dust off of your car between washings.
Modern car waxes should hold up for a few months without being reapplied - except under the harshest of conditions.
If you really want to dote on your Hellcat, check out the post I made on doing a clay bar treatment. http://www.hellcat.org/threads/exterior-care.229/ That should keep you occupied (with your hands on your car) for a day or two. :D

Thanks challenger dad I read your post ...good stuff man..I guess I am so anal about the car because it's really a bad azz car...I cruised through dallas last week and and had a couple of SRT,s come up beside me and ride starboard and port for 5 miles with thumbs up that felt awesome.

Waxed it twice, I only hand wash and vacuum it at home, no car washes, clean under the hood, under the trunk, everywhere. Nobody and I mean nobody else gets to drive it, no wife, no daughter, no son in law. Park it as far away from everything as possible, and still somebody always manages to park next to it., when it comes to my CAT, call me Mr.Anal please. :D

Ditto! Except that is Ms. ;) Someone parked kinda close, but I take two spots at an angle at the end of the lot wherever I am...I gave them dirty looks when they came out to their car. Slomaro thought he was cool enough to take real estate by my baby:mad: NOT!
