Palmolive dish soap and water, or very weak cleaner like k boom or pure purple. The dealer told me to stay away from the harsh wheel cleaners on the BM wheels. You can also wax them (front and back) this will help the dust wash off with just a hose. i put ceramic pads on and now have pretty much no dust.

You can use any spray detailer and that works well. I do not suggest any household cleaner because they are very abrasive towards clear coats.

I would not use any household cleaners on the wheels. Most are too harsh. Same story on the paint.

There are lots of mild wheel cleaners out there. I also had CQuartz put on the wheels and calipers and brake dust doesn't stick to the surface as much.

Buy a bottle of S100, it's the greatest invention ever. If you ride a motorcycle, you likely already know about it.

Spray on, let it sit for about a minute, power-rinse off. That's it. No back breaking cleaning involved. At WORST, you may have to lightly wipe the wheel with the provided sponge if stuff is really caked on there. It does all the hard work for you, but it doesn't harm paint, clearcoat or rubber.

I wash all of my cars and motorcycles with it, and I haven't let a rag or cloth touch any of my vehicles in at least 5 years. No scratches, no swirlies, no damage. I also don't dry with any cloth either, electric leafblower and that's it.

If you're ONLY looking for wheel cleaner, get the S100 Wheel Cleaner, it's about twice as powerful as the Total Cycle Cleaner, and it's in gel form. You'll never have to do anything more than rinse it off, and the wheels will look like brand new.

Something they don't advertise anymore is that all S100 has a corrosion inhibitor in the formula as well.

Never let dishsoap touch your cars, ever.

Dishsoap removes grease from dishes because it is an abrasive soap. Dishsoap will eat through waxes, and over time will deteriorate clearcoats. What you get with long-term dishsoap use is a dull finish.

Absolutely. I have used them on "Black Denim" paint (Harley's name for matte black satin), black coated engines and everything.

i use FW1 high performance cleaning wax by fastwax.com....spray can on my matte black rims

normal soapy clean w/ the rest of the car, dry then spray this wax on a rag and apply to wheels.....i also use it on the rear spoiler and ill bet it works great on the matte black hoods too

it will give a semi-shine to the matte black...not too much, but a bit....i prefer the look

i am sure it will be the correct product your looking for for your Brass Monkey rims.....they are just a different can of spray paint that some kid in China uses on your rims....probably child labor being painted in an alley w/o a respirator with a spray can

Car wash soap and water for wheels that are well cared for.

If you want a really good wheel cleaner (specific product that removes brake dust) that will not damage your wheels then check out 'Sonax Full Effect'. There is nothing better IMO. I use it on my Hellcat and the wheels and brakes are spotless (well at least until the next time I drive it LOL).

I've used it for a variety of finishes (including a $10,000 show bike paint job) and have yet to see any issues.

Don't use Barrett-Jackson wheel cleaner. Somebody use that on there black Hellcat wheels & it etched spots into them. It was posted on this forum I think or Facebook I can't remember.

CQuartz makes the wheels so easy to clean. I love it!
