Just sailed past the break in, and got around to checking the oil level (perfect btw) and noticed this; I have since cleaned it, and it appears to be secure but obviously, I am concerned:

Looks like normal Hemi blow by.

Looks like the Hellcats may indeed need catch cans.

I cleaned it off, but what is it from? Is that some type of breather element? This is at 500 miles. Anyone else?

This looks like a call out for DR Buick and Fnkychkn, both are a wealth of knowledge when it comes to this sort of stuff.;)

Is it something that requires a catch can? I am not sure what it is or does so when you say zip tie please elaborate? Also i am less worried about the oil coming out as opposed to it being acproblem or blowing oil into the charger and pistons.

Looks like a crankcase ventilation line (more specifically for when the PCV valve closes and the crankcase gases etc at Wide-Open-Throttle have to go somewhere - CCV Bible calls it foul-air mode). The PCV makeup air line should be the one coming off the top of the black rubber intake tube just in front of the throttle body.

So, that seems like a lot of oil going into the engine
