Heading to Detroit metro area tomorrow to see my 'cat, inspect and pay.
Tuesday a routing home allowing for some proper break-in use.
Very pumped but a tad sad it will go to bed until March.

if the roads are clear drive it home....if there is any snow at all and you have the summer tires id flat bed it home...the car does not move in snow at all.....and does worse on ice

i had to snow plow, then salt 50' of my cul de sac to get the car up my driveway....2" of snow and about a 5% incline and the car is just immobile....

after my experience i wouldnt drive this car in snow

i drove my gt500 in snow, slush, freezing rain....had no real issues....i found the car moves in about 2-3" of snow

drove the HC in rain (34 degrees out)....as soon as i got home it got to (31 degrees) and 2" of ice on the main road....after being pulled out of the ditch and $3,200 in damage i spent 1 hour just getting it up my road which wasnt plowed (2" of snow)

clean roads....drive it home and enjoy....any snow= rent a flat bed

Jim, no snow predicted for Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday for either Kent or Newaygo counties. Enjoy the ride home. You'll only want more when you get it to TC. It's gonna be a long "second half" of winter! Congratulations!

Mechanics helped power it up ramp. Had boards to raise ramps, and the spoiler cleared fine. You will need boards to make it work, so be prepared. I brought my own to be sure. I had the lot guy at the dealer do the same when it arrived off the truck to begin with. Driver said it was the only one of 2 that did not scratch the spoiler, so be careful.. Have fun and drive fast!!!!!!!

Congrats Jim. Looks like you have plenty of advice from people before me. Make your checklist and bring what you need to bring your Hell Baby home. Can't wait to see pics and maybe some video. Enjoy!

Have you considered, after you close deal, allowing the dealership to store it on showroom floor till weather permits bringing her home?

If the weather changes, that will be a topic of discussion.
If so, and my wife's gets built fast enough we could ride them back in tandem !!
