My label conscious x wife, who drives a 4 door S550 finished in soccer mom white, has closed her latest e mail with the salutation "I guess I should be thankful I don't drive a dodge..."

I am concerned that my son, pictured here beside my embarrassment of a car, is going to get made fun of in school if word gets out about what his dad drives. Should I sell this thing and get something more prestigious so that people wont look down on us?

    Looking for advice

Your son will be the most popular kid in the school in a hellcat challenger. I drove a 69 rt charger when I was in high school.

The people who would "admire" me for driving an S550 are the exact crowd I would rather avoid. So if they look down on having a Hellcat it just saves everybody involved a lot of time.

I use "admire" in the being nice to your face and talking bad about you behind your back kind of way.

That being said, I'm sure the S550 is a great car, but I would never drive one because of what someone else's thoughts were...about anything.

I love ripping the tires up when some snooty mom gives me rude looks in my Hellbaby! good for them, thinking their toy is better. I can guarantee I am having at least 10x more fun in my car than they ever will! LOL;)
Congrats by the way! You should keep it if you are all about the fun. If you just want to try for a better toy, well the Hellcat still wins. I guess if you want a pompous arrogant I never drive ov the speed limit car, then you should sell it. I bet you could get a few takers here for MSRP!:) Enjoy!

The car is phenomenal and there is no car, at any price, I would rather have. The feeling I get, even today after I have had it for 4 months, is an absolute rush. Every time. Its the same feeling I had when I was a kid and got the mighty Honda TRX250R atv.Its a feeling that has not been duplicated with any other car I have owned and this includes some higher end cars like a couple 911s, NSX, CL600, and others. This car just gets up and goes like a 2 stroke quad and I love it!!!!

You have to be snobbish to a snob, that is the only thing they understand.

My wife drives an SRT 8 Grand Cherokee, she's like one of us. I'm lucky, I got a badass car and badass wife, with a badass car. I say F, the Mercedes crowd, who needs them

The real question is, why is there a bigfoot standing next to your car, and did you bag it for the good of science?

    :D
