    Really?

If people want to remember Muhammad Ali as a Great Man and one of the Greatest boxers of all time, why can't Haters just leave it be.

We all have our failures in life, and NONE of us are perfect!

Do you really need to go out of your way to point out the failures of a Great man even after he is dead?

    RIP

he failed the asfab (IQ test) with a score of 78, then they changed the rules and tried to induct him anyway as propoganda for that war. he stood up to the US government.. a position i doubt you would handle so well. he stood up for his beliefs, and to me that makes him a hero. but i just wanna talk boxing. not cowardly posts written by some jaded loser with an obvious agenda. some people are just too old to change their minds about anything. stay off this thread if youre going to post negative things. boxing only. not politics. i admire the man for his boxing. i box. i go to boxing gyms. i feel the world lost a great soul. if you disagree then keep it to yourself this is my thread.

Give it a rest! Ali didn't run to Canada. Ali is a true inspiration that is why the world is celebrating his memory.

BODUKE please stop political bs. the last thread was locked because of it. it is truly pathetic i cannot share a great boxing tribute compilation video on this forum in the off topic section without people jumping all over it trying to make it political.

the man was a great boxer, (i argue the greatest) and for years i contemplated Tyson versus Ali.. but came to the conclusion Tyson most likely would have gassed out early.. regardless if you agree with his life outside of the ring i just want to remember how great he was in the ring please. not trying to offend anyone.

It's hard to even imagine the physical punishment Ali must have been able to sustain. He was certainly an incredible boxer, with speed, power and movement, however what amazes me was his ability to accept punches. I can't even begin to fathom how quickly I would have been unconscious if I took just a fraction of those punches. I've had my bell rung before by a good punch and woke up wondering what planet I was on.

watched your video Blaze. It was great. Those were some troubled times then. Not much has improved
but he did dazzle the world with his poems and boxing.
Boy did he put those people in their place.

Blaze I think Tyson in his prime vs Ali would have been the world's greatest fight. Personally I think Tyson would have taken him. He was a beast in his prime fast and twice as powerful. Even Ali said Tyson was the greatest boxer ever and would have beaten him. We will never know.
