    Yes, probably because I like the look. Probably will not be an early adopter given paint process, wrap process and warpage issues with hoods noted in this blog. I will wait and let a few others blaze the trail on this one or wait till SRT resolves the paint issue ( if ever).

    What is the F#####g deal, we can put a heart from a Baboon into a human and make it work, put a F-ing person on the GD moon,but someone on the planet can't paint a damn hood satin f-ing black......WTF!! See, we pay money & you make the product! That's how it works,if you can't do it,don't have it in your pics of this new Hot car in every mag. In the world. Figure it out!!!

    Get it back from the body shop tomorrow. $200 cheaper than from dodge!

    dealer sent me note today, have one coming in feb 9th with black hood. WTH? either hes wrong or they are now coming out...

    Hey, what about getting a couple can of "plasti-dip" and spraying the hood, cost about $20 and if you don't like it you can peal it off. :)

    I'm planning on wrapping the hood by spring time once it warms up. Will probably do the Charger too, since I previously had a B5 with flat black hood.

    My first quote for a hood wrap was $200. I just got another quote today from a different shop: $425

    If the spray bomb thing looks good, why not? Wonder if it really would look good though.

    Can I request a cease and disses on the subject of satin black hoods. It's just to painful for me. :-(
