This is to help battery from going dead. Put back in shipping mode. This is how you do it

1st push button to run engine off

    2nd turn hazards on

3rd hold up arrow on steering wheel for 5 seconds and it will go into shipping mode

Do again to take it out/ pit in customer mode

Interesting. What I always wondered is while my CAT sat out for 2 months in Taylor Auction Yard, did they hook up float chargers? Cause any other vehicle that sits for 2 months will surely have a dead battery without something like that. Since the CAT has a massive 730 AMP batt., I'm guessing that helps. What exactly does shipping mode do? Totally turn everything off?

Some people will need pictures with your steps. Just warning you now to be ready. And, you can just edit your first post vice throwing the pics later in the thread if your able to get pics.

I'm guessing the engine will still start while in shipping mode? Would this be more secure than valet mode if you have to park the car with an attendent someplace?

Will this work on my 2012 SRT-8? Its in my car trailer waiting to get traded. I worry about the battery since the trailer is not heated.
