When I search for the Charger HC on the Dodge website I can find a "ton" that are "in transit". I undertand that it means one is on its way to that dealer, but how do you know if it is already sold to a person. What I am getting at it there are alot enroute. What does in transit acually mean? It is on a truck crossing the U.S. or it is about to etc...

There is no way to know if the car is already sold or not -- have to call the dealer(s) and ask.

That's what I was thinking. I was also thinking that is a lot of Chargers on the move; isn't it? Kinda inspirational.

Mine's been KZ and sitting at Brampton since last Thursday. It was originally scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, and now it's next Monday. Looks like the ones that are being taken by truck sit around longer than the ones going by train.

So I went on cars.com today saw one of the few hellcats that was listed, called the dealer who told me it was sold but they had a white one in G status, paid deposit, paid MSRP, pick up in a guess a month

My car showed up as in transit for a couple days. I saved it on the dealer site and next day or so it showed up as sold. So the dealers I.T. guys may go in and update some of them if they are sold.
