wow. Literally cannot recommend enough. Did struggle with one bolt during the install but I'd do it five times again for how good this is.

I wish Barton made a viper shifter. It's so good I must upgrade the viper now. Everything else is a toy compared to this Barton piece.

If you can't tell I'm satisfied.

    Thanks Barton!

    Gavin.

I thought about the change myself, the stock shifter seems too touchy, it works fine if your shift throws are smooth and nearly perfect, but it seems if i get a little excited, its easy to miss second, how does the barton act, longer throws, bigger gates?? Thanks.

Did you consider just the Barton bottom end with the stock stick/ball?

Nice... I put the Hurst in my 2009 SRT... I wasn't impressed. I've only heard good things about the Barton. I also think the new M6 has been improved a lot since 2009 and I always thought it was very notchy shifting. I went thru the gears on a friends of mines M6 Cat and it shifted way better... the new Cat with this Barton shifter must make it shift like butter.

Throws are shorter but most noticeable is the rifle bolt action quality. No slop. Total confidence.

Been using the barton short throw shifter for about 3 months now. Top quality piece and construction. No slop. I installed the pistol shifter at first but now am looking at installing the anodize black shift stick with old school shift ball grip. The tension on the spring going into 5th and 6th might be a little easier with more leverage and height. The pistol shifter, while a very nice piece is low in the boot and makes the push over to 5th and 6th a little hit and miss sometimes.
