I have seen a few people post pictures of oil catch can installs, but havent seen anyone use the ones from Billettech, so thought I would share as their mounting locations and brackets are different from all the others I have seen. I also installed a breather valve from Metco in place of the oil fill cap. Here are a few pictures:

What is the breather valve do? Relieve pressure in the crank case? I have the same set up minus the breather valve.

Yes, exactly! There is a one-way valve within the neck before the mounted filter so its only "venting" when there is actually pressure there to relieve.

You take some darn good pictures very clear. This was my first mod so far. What else have you done or plan on doing?

I wish that breather valve came apart so I could powder coat or plastidip the chrome parts

Thanks for the compliment on the pictures! :)

The only other mods I have thus far are visual. The color difference of the stripes (sublime green and matte black) make it very difficult to photograph. Its almost like the color green I used freaks the CCD pickup on the camera! Anyways, I did have the car photographed in a professional studio (yes, its big enough to fit the car inside) but I dont have those "finalized" pictures yet.

Here is what I have done thus far:

    1) Full Front XPEL Clear Bra
    2) All badges blacked out
    3) Window Tint (including Windshield)
    4) Side markers blacked (wrapped) with LED area exposed
    5) Custom twin matte black stripes with Challenger/Charger grill pattern
    6) Twin sublime green stripes
    7) Side view mirrors outlined in sublime green
    8) Custom made "Hellcat" door sill protectors (same material as sublime stripes but covered with XPEL clear bra)

... And technically the green I used isn't really "sublime", but I forget the actual name of the color but used that name so you knew what I was referencing.

I just got a set of Evolution Sport Z23 carbon/ceramic brake pads (switching out for lower brake dust vs. performance difference) but havent gotten those installed yet. Hopefully this weekend though!

The breather filter is already a separate piece from the portion that installs into the oil filler valve, so just cover the top of bottom of the oil filler part with painters tape and plastidip away! The only area of the filter portion itself is the metal top, so all you need to do is cover the filter with painters tape and you should be all set there too!

It seriously would be really easy to do!

I have the same catch can except I used the standard hoses. I don't think I will need the breather unless the engine has a lot of wear on it in later years.

The breather prevents the crankcase from being pressurized which will help stop oil leaks in the future.

I put both catch cans one mine as well. The upgraded aluminum fittings with the "braided" lines were not really what I expected. At a $40 up charge, quite honestly it is a total rip off and the bend radius on the hose was so tight on the passenger side the hose kinked.

I love the breather and catch can with the black hoses. Were those hoses an upgrade or the standard for that package?

Also love the textured stripes, what is that called or what brand?

I'm trying to decide between the CQuarts and the Expel Clear Bra. How much was the Expel for the whole front? I'd like to have the rockers done as well.

The car can already vent crank case pressure through the makeup vent line terminating to air intake (termed foul air condition.) One way to stop that is installing a check valve in that line that will shut it down and force pressure flow through the Metco check valve. Which in turn completely eliminates any need for a catch can on the makeup air supply side.

Is the makeup vent line the hose that attaches via the drviers side and into the intake? I have catch cans installed on both sides in addition to the metco breather. If the makeup vent line is somewhere else, can you tell me how to find it? Lastly, any recommendations on how to block the vent to force it to use the metco breather?
