My insurance on the Hellcat actually went down $10 a month from my '09 SRT Challenger. My agent said there is a new car discount.

Mine went up, but I changed from Geico to a carrier that provides agreed to value, guaranteed replacement and OEM parts. When Geico offered to lower my rates from my 12 R/T, i knew they did not know what they were doing

    Canadian here. N.B.
Mine is dirt Cheap. $576 Cdn,about $450 US per YEAR.
    Full coverage, $250 Deductible,
50 bucks a year more than my wife's 5 year old Subie. Weird.
They knew what it was as they asked me if I had my pilots license.

I quoted USAA curiously for a HC. My '13 R&T was about $130 a month. A HC would have been $127. My SRT is $160. Makes zero sense... I plan on calling and finding out Monday. :(

I have 4 cars, 3 on full coverage. I switched from NGM to USAA. I had a discount for having homeowners with NGM as well. I did not move the homeowners just the cars. I changed an 09 R/T for a 15 HC and my insurance went down as well. And when I move the house over, another discount.
    No questioning done here...

That should not affect you. Car was in the valet's care, custody and control. Their insurance should step in and take care of everything.
