Ok, at engine operating temperature and outside air temperatures at 85/90 degrees, what are you folks seeing as I AT with car speed 55 to 65? Testing a possible fix.

I'm reading 140 to 150 degrees. What elevation are you at and how much boost will your engine make?

    Paladin,
I went to Myrtle Beach a few weeks back and took pics of that while coming home at 91* ambient temp at 62 mph cruise set, I have 123-127* IAT, consistently, and that was no traffic cruising condition for about an hour.

We were on a tour of Wisconsin after the SRT Experience. So we did some 65-72 mph cruising for a long time as the clock says. Started from a hot parked car with the first picture. Stable with the second. But lots of 127 degree readings also. Temps in the upper 80's. Just duct some extra A/C into the box to chill it!

    Then after driving...

Has anyone checked to see how much boost you have at 5000rpm or over under full throttle?

Problem is iat heat soaks, at slow speeds or when not in motion. You see it if you measure it's temp compared to air temps, but only under those conditions when air flow doesn't cool it. (On some maf anyway on mine e.g.) Mike at bwoody sees this already he's right wanting to re locate the iat, that will be better even if you don't run his intake.
