I recently purchased my Automatic sublime green hellcat and my local dealer does the install on the basic mods i have ordered.

2.85 super charger pully upgrade plus 3lb boost
    Idler pully upgrade
Pcm unlock and diablo 1000 tune
    180 degree thermostat
    Afe air intake

According to the dealer a driveline upgrade is not needed running stock tires it is however recommended for slicks

The place i ordered the parts recommends the 1000 hp driveline. It was also stated that these upgrades will deliver at least 80 more rear wheel horse power. I get the parts installed in 2 weeks and will dyno it shortly after. Any feedback is appreciated. Thanks

I would say absolutely replace the driveshaft. Especially if u plan on tracking it. All that added HP and torque will only add to the potential breakage of the stock shaft. And also chances are that the driveshaft and basically everything else will be no longer covered under warranty due to your upgrades. Did your dealer happen to mention that?

Where do you live, I want to make sure I don't challenge that combo. Should be pretty stout!

Washington state. According to the Dodge mechanic there should not be any issues with these upgrades. On the website the smallest boost pully upgrade is 2.85 and states for street use. This is the 3lb plus of boost. The higher boost numbers then state racing. It was important for me to keep driveability and reliability so this was the recommended upgrade package I went with. The car will be at the dealer for two days as once the mods are installed info is given to diablo for a specific tune in regards to your specific upgrades as i understand it. I will post pics of the dyno results after I get the work done.

The website I used was modernmuscleextreme for all the parts i ordered.

Im not commenting on my warranty discussion. I would say like many mods its very dealer dependant on how they take care of you. Make sure you have that discussion upfront with your dealer prior to having any after market work done and ask what upgrades they will cover.

Lots of posts on here concerning that airbox. Tried and tested and has seen little to no gains. Even losses in some cases. Company was on here touting their wares hardcore until some peeps here got them and tested. Company hasn't been seen since. Just sayin. People that are high on the HP trail are sticking with the stock box.

I agree on the stock box or a similar setup to the stock box and intake like AFE for example.

Since you are going with a Diablo tune, PM Josh at HHP High Horse Performance he is a vendor on here and also sell the go fast parts.
    or post questions here
.Hellcat Tuning Q&A's with Josh (HHP) and AJ (HEMITUNER)
My Hell Cat Charger and my Husbands Top Cat Challenger cars were part of the R+D tuning and testing of parts for the Diablo tuning.
BTW As of now we both run a Stock air box, no filter. Maybe down the road....or track we might change that. March is just around the corner and more testing will begin!
    Linda:)

If you really want to be safe get the crank pinned and the AL DS. IMO

I hear people say pin the crank. How big of an undertaking is this? Will it void my warranty? Do the dealerships do this? Cost?

It's a PIA to pin crank, if you are stock or mild tune, it is not necessarily needed.
