I'm about to take possession of a 2015 Challenger Hellcaf but now I am wondering if this car has serious quality issues in 2015. I'm reading about a lot of issues. Radiators, seals, leaks, seats, paint, etc. Is this car a ticking time bomb?

Add to the mix dealers that are abusing cars when they come in for service and I'm really thinking this might be a mistake. Thoughts?

I mean, it's a dodge. Not only is it a dodge but it's also the first year of the most powerful production car ever, are there going to be problems? Yeah. Is it worth it, to me it is. Look, don't buy this car if you're looking for
    1. an investment
    2. a honda
    3. a backseat
You have to remember that no one that's satisfied with quality posts about it on the internet. The issues that you see posted here are not representative of a majority of owners.

The dealership I use , the technician got pulled over for running 22 miles an hour over the speed limit but that is partially my fault for telling them it had a vibration running 77,he the technician was happy to take my car out and get it up to speed to see if rotating and balancing fix the vibration

I love my Hellcat and haven't suffered and issues. Oil service at 3k and was clean as a whistle. No radiator issues. The only problem I can find is the tyres wear down on the rear quickly (not sure why?).

I have had my HellCat since Dec.17, 2014, and I have had no issues. I had several small spots of debris under my clearcoat, which were wet sanded and buffed out by the local collision center. After that, spotless.

Sounds like you have some pretty serious apprehension about putting down your hard earned money for this car. You still have time. Do yourself a favor and BACK OUT NOW! Let it be someone else's nightmare. Maybe in 3 or 4 years they will have all of the bugs worked out and you will have more confidence about the purchase. In the mean time, keep watching Hellcat.org forums for further details.

you have to be careful about ANYTHING you see on the internet in terms of reviews. People normally only write a review if they had a bad experience, the other 90+% of the people are enjoying the product (whatever it may be).

If you go to any car forum, you will see post after post about issues A, B & C. So stop worrying, if something breaks, its under warranty and will get fixed.

This car is not a wise or unwise purchase. It's a passion, a love affair, a no brainer. Those of us that have / want know it is overkill. We know it is new tech and will have some issues. We also know its unproven and *may* prove to be a bad investment. Our desire overides those concerns and we accept the risk. Or at least we should. If you do not feel the pull of passion then I would suggest that perhaps this isn't the car. And if you do decide to wait it out I wouldn't wait 3-4 years. I doubt this will still be going then.

Good luck and go with your gut. 9 out of 10 times the gut knows..

My cat has been relatively trouble free. Had the rear end issue but it was more of an annoyance and they still fixed it in a few hours. Paint is almost perfect and she runs like a champ. It's a roll of the dice with any first year model.

Yeah, some people have had issues with their cats but EVERY car has issues...

That said, my cat was purrfect on delivery day & has been nothing but the most awesome car I have ever owned or driven since.
