I have been looking for another way to winterize car storage. Storage mode only works for cars with under 110 miles. Anyone know if there is a get around the 110 miles limitation? This would make it easier for battery tender to work from engine bay.

Are you sure about the 110 miles,,,I had mine in my garage last winter and srt informed me that after two weeks it goes into sleep mode....the reason I called srt was because I never got my monthly health reports.. so my plan is to top off the tank and let the car go into sleep mode

Not sure what you mean by your last sentence????

Dealer prep includes "topping up" the battery and my dealer connected it under the hood. Perhaps it was still in storage (shipping?) mode

I put mine in the garage for a few months while away for work, just topped off the tank, put in some fuel stabilizer, battery tender on it, and that was it

I usually just disconnect the neg battery terminal, fuel stab if longer than 3 months
Inflate tires to max sidewall pressure, moth balls, ground plastic tarp even over concrete and see you in the spring...

    Never had an issue

I was hoping not to put the battery tender in the trunk as it will be easier to get the power from the front of the car as it is now parked. As for the 110 miles, I have read that in a couple of places. The handbook says to pull the neg post.
