Thanks to all the great video posts. I am going to do the mid-muffler delete. The shop that is going to do it has done great work on my cars. But he did caution me, it may be too loud..I love the American cars partially due to the sound. I love the sound of my Z06 and hellcat but can't wait to do this. But before I do, does anyone think it is too loud?

Thanks again to all the forum members. It is awesome to see what folks are doing on their Hellcats.

Mid muffler on my 14 r/t made it louder. Hellcat with same m6 would be much louder.

People on road and police are always watching these cars.

Sure you can get to a exhaust sound volume that will be less than desireable level at certain times.

Too loud is possible. IMO, the stock Hellcat exhaust leaves some room for improvement. To me, it is too quiet. But there are times my Magnum is too loud. So I sought a mid point. The MagnaFlow axle-back was the compromise that works for me.

If you search around you should be able to get their axle-back for around $400.

Make sure you will like the tips. I got the impression you have a Challenger. Those tips are quad round, not square.

Best part of muffler delete is it is inexpensive and completely reversible if done properly.

JMHO but I think the HC OEM sound is right on spot...any louder and I wouldn't like driving it....but if an owner wants louder the above posts are the way to go...

So are the mid mufflers resonators?

Not sure who started calling them mid mufflers. Starting from the front you have catalytic converters, mufflers, then resonators
