I am ordering a 2016 Hellcat (as soon as I can get a dealer to take my order). I don't like the dark wheels and plan to switch to a brighter wheel, like the 2012-2014 SRT wheels. Is it practical to take the stock black wheels on the Hellcat and simply have them powder-coated? Isn't that a simpler solution than buying new wheels and then having to sell your old wheels?

The wheels are already powder coated to my knowledge... should just be able to strip and apply a new coat, no?

You can paint or powder coat them. Nobody will die as a result.

Yeah they are made in Taiwan so you are already living on the edge - paint, powder coat, chrome them or whatever you want.
