How many people are buying the navigation system ?
I was thinking I did not need it...

From looking at Tammie's posts, Dodge has put every bit of technology they have in the cat. It looks like a great deal to me. Don't want to miss
anything. My 14 Core had nothing, not even a touch screen.

I'd much rather have the option of having it on a nice 8" screen instead of my cell phone. REALLY wish we had a HUD like the vettes have. That would be nice.

I ordered with Navigation. I am glad I did. You can get gas stations and prices in the area you are at, along with locating an address. I don't need it often, but it is nice to have when you do. My fav is the backup camera with warning sensor. Saves you from the blind spots in the car!!

I skipped Navigation on mine. For the rare occasion where I don't know where I'm going, cell phones and our standalone Garmin GPS unit do the job just fine. I never listen to regular radio so no HD Radio was not an issue for me, either. Still comes with Sirius/XM and you can still do the audio apps like Pandora with the 3G net connection.

Also, the backup camera and blind spot detection stuff comes regardless of whether or not you got Navigation. :)

Yeah, just pointing out that I like it. You definitely don't need navi, I just like having it because I find it easier to use than my phone. It was the only thing I added to my car aside from red seat belts.:)

You can add it later, it's just an upload at the dealer.

When I got my first nav unit in a 2007 (other SUV brand name here), I thought I wouldn't really use it. But it came in handy a few times so I thought I would get it on my 2009 Challenger. Found myself using it more often. I got it again on my 2014 Shaker when I replaced the '09 and now use it a lot. I do a bit more traveling to new cities than I used to and it has worked really well for me. I obviously don't need it for local driving, but for the long trips to new cities, I'd be "lost" without it. Having said that, the nav unit on my wife's 2013 Subaru is the worst thing I have ever seen. A seeing eye dog could do better.
