Is "sport" traction control a factor with twisted driveshafts?

Ray's post above from another thread got me thinking about this and I thought maybe it deserved its own thread.

Have we seen any/many driveshafts twisted with TC completely turned off?

I think it's just a matter of having better-than-stock traction. AFAIK no one has twisted a drive shaft on street tires on a regular road. But when you have drag radials on a prepped surface, that's where you're entering the danger zone.

many who drag race turn TC all off......if you want 10.8 most likely thats what your going to do...

i went from 11.6 to 11.2 by turning the TC button off and also doing a better burnout

i decided to upgrade my DS and ordered one the other day......now that im able to get low 11's im guessing ill be in the 10's next year at some time...for $899 its not worth the risk

if you dont go to a drag strip or have DR's i dont see the purpose in getting it though
