Do you want to upgrade your Hellcat's stock exhaust?

What do you Hellcat owners think; is the stock Hellcat exhaust loud/rumbly enough or do you have the desire to upgrade (whenever exhausts become available)?

I noticed that Zoomers has an exhaust (more like aftermarket mufflers) available for pre-order on their website. I've always been a HUUUUUUGE Zoomers fan and have had those systems on all 4 of my SRT8's, but I'm wondering if the Hellcat is loud enough as-is?

Granted, we'll all have to wait and see what these new exhausts sound like, but what is the general consensus on owner satisfaction with noise/tone/volume of stock exhaust?

    DISCUSS.

It's hard to tell from the driver seat but I'm not brave enough to let someone else drive it by me so I could hear the exhaust my wife would but I would be too nervous to listen

I am happy, happy, happy. I won't be touching the exhaust. It sounds great and is way louder than any other stock exhaust system I've heard on like cars. I'm not into noise for noise sake.

I think it's the best sounding factory exhaust out there,I do wish there was a way to open it on demand

Agreed, I love the sound of the stock exhaust, but if there was a factory option to open it up on demand that would be nice.

I broke your tie vote. It don't hurt my ears but it is the best sounding system I have heard on a stock car, no way I am touching it. My neighbor brought his ZR1 over yesterday.....he drove it home thinking about getting a Hellcat instead after driving mine! It was noticeably not as loud as the Mopar. image.jpg

Quiet and slow...I never thought I'd own a car that would necessitate the using of those two words to describe a Corvette ZR1...Life is good.

I am torn. From inside the car, I wish it was a bit louder. My wife assures me it is loud enough... much louder she says than my C6 with a full Corsa Sport system. At WOT the sound is monstrous though. My neighbors must love me at 6am.

Too loud when cruising at speed IMHO. At startup a bit loud, and driving and accelerating just right. One of the most aggressive factory systems I have ever heard.

Now don't get me wrong, that is a world class car and it sounds very impressive, I would never knock it. Did we ever think we would take a pix of a Challenger next to that competition and begin comparing them?? Just saying the exhaust of the HC is louder. Can't help it, he and myself who has driven his car several times agree it is louder, shifts faster..... Is it quicker (drivers race), better around a road course (no), cheaper (yes)....all other stuff, just opinions, both are excellent examples of great times to be a car enthusiast.

Absolutely not knocking the ZR1, I love them. They were out of my budget when they were introduced or I would have snagged one. I'm a classic GM guy. I don't really like anything they've done this last decade, that ZR1 was the exception.

Between the ZR1 and GT500, they made the Hellcat possible. Gotta respect that.

Don't know yet, but I plan on using this more as a daily driver, so not a fan of wanting a louder exhaust.
