Piecing this together, I'm assuming todays Mecum auction in Indianapolis didn't fare well for a Hellcat.

Website shows one going today (the website says sold, but you need to have an account to see the details): 2015 Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat 6.2 707 HP Automatic Mecum Auctions

I'm guessing someone thought it "would pull a premium 1 week before Race Wars" because dealers are having so much fun..

I was wondering what it sold for. Now I know. Thanks!

Kinda disapointing. However who ever paid the $110k for the one in Houston was nuts!

It would have been nice to see this last one sell for $75 Or so.

I have seen this a lot over time being on many forums.

6.1 liter 300 Hemis, Lotus (Toyotas!), Mini Coopers in the early 2000s, Nobles, the list is endless and that is fine.

So what. William Shatner once said - "It is far better to be a has been than a never was ....."

Sure the luster will wear off and the next greatest thing will come along, but in the here and now enjoy it.

For every Evo or Subbie STI fan there is a Focus RS waiting around corner. For every HC fan there is the next/better thing. It has always been this way.

Mecum site shows it sold for $66K. With buyer's premium that's still $72K for a USED car that stickered for $64.5K.

Yup I got that shaft..... 68 used for something that sticker was 62... But I'm with Burt... Has been than a never was.... And I think in time and not that much time the values will rise they are rumors that the hemi won't be around in 2019... And I think this was supposed to be the last year for challenger
