So there was a black HC, super clean and detailed in PHX at a car show proclaiming 1000 hp. I won't get into the Shit talking about the owner that was going on, but given the specs on this pic, is this anywhere near a 1000 hp build? My opinion is no, but I'd like to hear from the peanut gallery.

I'm not saying it is or isn't but the last thing says it was DynoJet proven. If so, why not include the dyno report with your writeup?

I agree with SRT_HC_707 plus, if it's "DynoJet proven" I'd be shocked to see it making anywhere near 1000 at the tires so what correction factor to calculate parasitic (driveline) loss was used to get to the 1000 HP figure?

Who knows? Not me, I didn't stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night o_O

So basically he is saying a ported SC, 10% lower pulley, upper pulley, headers and a tune got him to 1000 hp on an otherwise stock motor?

"With the Forza stage 4 package, this Dodge Challenger SRT Hellcat laid down an awesome 807 rear wheel horsepower and 740lb-ft of rear wheel torque. This same car made 654 horsepower and 609lb-ft of torque at the rear wheels on the Forza dyno when stock, so the stage 1-4 upgrade packages on the supercharger Hellcat Challenger have added 153 horsepower and 131lb-ft of torque at the wheels. Big Power, Questionable Math According to Forza Tuning, they are using an “industry standard” calculation of 20% drivetrain loss for the Hellcat Hemi, but if this exact car was losing 20% of the power between the engine and the wheels, the stock testing results of 654 rear wheel horsepower would convert to 815 stock horsepower at the crank. We know that the Hellcat Challenger is underrated at 707 horsepower, but 815hp seems like a real stretch."

My guess would be 775-800 rwhp on 93 octane. DR.SS's car had bad ping at 800rwhp I bet he ends up at 740-760 when they get a safe tune. Talked to a old class mate that builds nascar and sprint cup motors for a living he says depending on blower, a port job should add 30 to 50 hp.

I seriously doubt port and polish on one of these superchargers would net much if any hp.

You are correct, we have done the testing and for what most of the guys that think they have a P&P they don't, all that has been done is a clean up of the snout, more like a de burring and gains are almost nothing, add that to the list of wasted items not needed like long tubes.
