There is something wrong there with that second picture for sure. To me I'd want to get that fixed, Who knows why it's like that. It could have been Poor QC (Which dodge so far is proven to be horrible at the quality checking process).

Just letting you know, Dodge will probably just pay a body shop to body filler smooth it out so it'll be painting and blending the entire area.

Took pictures of both my rear quarters. Use them for reference.

Hmm.. That looks odd to me and I don't recall that on my car. It's under cover otherwise I'd check for you.

that ain't right............oh boy, I'd be pissed. Don't buy it, if you haven't yet, I wouldn't settle for a repaint, that should have been seen during the PDI by the dealer

Yeah, While this may be a simple PDR fix i'd be really upset if this required a repaint and blend.

That looks like crap return it for a new one. Quality control must be blind. How can this happen to a 2016 vehicle ?

I dunno, Check my thread and owners couldn't care how their body looks. Some of us paid over 70k for these things and this passes QC

I just checked mine and it doesn't have that either. Mine is a 2016 with the sun roof.

That's going to require more work than any PDR guy can perform unfortunately but good luck with the repair!!! Both sides look defected also just so your aware.

Let us know how you make out. Hard to tell in the pictures if that is a paint defect or metal defect. Very odd indeed.

I asked about the sunroof as I was curious if it was possible if there was some buckling from stress. No sunroof so that's out of the question...
